Prayer & intercession
We run several prayer based meetings during the week, some of these are
- for prayer and healing,
- some are for prayer and deliverance, and
- some are for prayer and intercession.
Our healing prayer meetings are run through the walk-in healing clinic that is open every Tuesday between 11:30am – 1:30pm.
This meeting is open to anyone to attend, from near or far, and many do travel quite a distance to come.
The session usually starts with some informal teaching about healing taken from the bible, and then there is opportunity for people to receive individual prayer.
Our healing and deliverance/intercession prayer meetings are usually held on a Friday evening. These tend to be active prayer sessions which start with some teaching from the bible and then a period of praying and interceding for different things as God leads us. It could be praying for the locality, the nation, topical issues, individuals or groups.
There are often times of personal prayer and deliverance also.
On Sundays we have personal prayer times at the end of the main worship meeting where there is opportunity for prayer for healing, encouragement, deliverance or any need that you may want God to help you with.
We take our lead on prayer ministry from reading and studying the bible and applying biblical principles and spiritual truths into our situations. 2 Timothy 3:16 tells us that
“all Scripture is God-breathed (given by His inspiration) and profitable for instruction, for reproof and conviction of sin, for correction of error and discipline in obedience, [and] for training in righteousness (in holy living, in conformity to God’s will in thought, purpose, and action),”
