Teresa RoachSadly Teresa Roach, one of our members, passed away on Monday 10th Feb 2014 at Springhill Hospice after a long fight with cancer and COPD. She is now with the Lord having joined the great cloud of witnesses.

Teresa was a longstanding member of the Upper Room; she became a Christian on the Opening day of the church over 20 years ago, and the Upper Room is her spiritual home and regular place of worship. She will be sadly missed, but never forgotten.

You are invited to join us as we remember and celebrate Teresa’s life and give thanks for her at a Service to be held at the Upper Room at 12 noon on Wednesday 19th Feb, and thereafter at Middleton Crematorium from 1pm, and Middleton Cricket Club.

In line with her faith in Jesus Christ Teresa wanted her passing to be a celebration of her life and so she asked that people do not wear black.

It was Teresa’s desire that any donations in her remembrance should be made to:
the Lighthouse Project, c/o Inspire Middleton,
which is a charity Carl has set up to help local people.
or to Springhill Hospice,
Teresa was tenderly cared for in the last weeks of her life.
